“You can’t tell anyone." he said, eyes wide, pretending it wasn’t fear clawing at his throat. Yes he might look like this, but he was still Dabi dammit. Nothing could scare him anymore.
“I won’t tell anyone,” Hawks said eventually, voice soft, “On one condition.”
“Of course.” he chuckled humorlessly. Because why would anyone in his life ever be willing to do something without getting anything from him in return?
"I want you to use this as a do-over. A second chance. Don’t make the same mistakes as before. Try again.”The world reels when the presumed dead Touya Todoroki resurfaces as his sixteen year old self, alongside a similarly de-aged Hawks. Lucky for him, he remembers everything, including his villainous identity. Luckier still, everyone else thinks he was just a civilian before being de-aged. Everyone except Hawks. But when Hawks insists Dabi take this opportunity as a fresh start, old scars will be reopened and new loyalties tested against old. Still, there's no way this crazy idea will work. After all, he was born to be nothing more than a villain. Right?

"Having fun there, little bird?" Keigo looks up and drags a chained wrist up to his face to move his hair out of the way, months of no haircut is leading the normally upright wisps of bangs to get too long and flop into his vision.
"Shut up Dabi." The manic laugh he gets in return is almost enough for him to wish he'd bothered to put any fire into his voice, to wish he didn't sound so defeated.

Summary
Dabi had known right from the start that falling for Hawks was a bad idea– no matter how much of a perfect and gorgeous man he is. Not only is he probably trying to spy on the league for the heroes’ side, but now Dabi likes him just enough that he doesn’t want to rat him out. It’s a disaster in the making.
Somehow, Dabi decided the best way to deal with this situation was to allow him to meet the rest of the League. If another League member calls Hawks out on his act, there’s nothing Dabi could do about it but go along with it, right?
He hadn’t anticipated that this plan would fail miserably. And would suddenly result in him having competition.
