Summary
“You’re not a dickhead for not wanting to lead women on,” Buck assures him. “And hey, if you’re cool with it, I’m happy to provide some PSS.”
“PSS?” Eddie asks, amused but wary.
“Platonic smoochin’ service!” Buck says with a grin.---
This is exactly as silly as it sounds, but hopefully also fun!Bookmarked by TimeLadyOnTheRun

Summary
“Which do you think makes you feel most loved?”
Eddie thought for a long moment. Too long, maybe. Then he shrugged, “Honestly, Buck? I have no idea.”
Buck’s brows pinched up. “What do you mean? When have you felt the most loved?”
“Don’t make a big thing of this, Buck. Promise?”
Buck made a show of crossing his heart, brows still raised curiously.
“I’m not sure I’ve ever… really felt loved in a relationship? I’m not convinced that I know what makes me feel loved…”

After finding out that Eddie doesn't know what his love language is, Buck sets about finding out for him. He begins a five week experiment, one for each love language, to figure out which will make Eddie feel the most loved.

Summary
"Are you okay?" Eddie asks, sounding more awake now. Awake and concerned.
Reluctantly, Buck forces his eyes open. "Yup," he answers as casually as possible. "I'm all good. Just, uh, showering."
Eddie frowns. "Water's not on."
"Yeah, I was just..." Buck trails off and rubs at the back of his neck. He has absolutely no idea how to finish that sentence.
Or, Buck gets off in a slightly unconventional way. Eddie finds out about it.

Summary
Buck finally sees him, his pupils blown wide, his lips red from sucking on Buck’s neck. “Fuck, I don’t know what I need. I feel insane right now. I just need to see, you know? I need proof of the blood pumping underneath your skin.”
“And you decided a hickey was the only way to do that?” Buck laughs, a tad hysterical. Eddie responds by pressing his finger against the hickey beginning to form on his neck. Buck hisses at the touch and, in the dim light, Eddie’s eyes seem to get even darker. Hungrier.
Buck is so fucked.
Or, Eddie becomes obsessed with checking Buck's pulse after New Mexico. It quickly escalates, when checking with his hands isn't enough anymore.

Summary
The doctor tilts her head to the only source of warmth in the cold, hospital room. “And who’s he?”
Buck’s eyes drift to Eddie, hungry for the sight of him. They fall upon the tense line of Eddie’s shoulders, the firm press of otherwise plump lips, watching like the very air in his lungs depend on Buck’s answer.
“That’s Eddie,” Buck answers, and the smile sneaks up on him. “Eddie Diaz. My partner.”
There. Relief washes through Eddie in a visible wave: his shoulders drop, features relaxing with the soft push of an exhale. Buck warms at the sight. Right answer.

A polysemy is a word with multiple, related meanings. The word partner, for example, can mean close friendship, a teammate, a co-parent. To someone else, it can also mean a lover.Bookmarked by TimeLadyOnTheRun
