Life is unfair. You can rage and push against the things that make it hard, but it'll throw you for a loop again and again until you don't know up from down. As Q is suddenly thrust into the musical spotlight, he's forced to reckon with traumas he thought he buried long ago, while also learning how to handle things like love, loss, and what he wants from his life.
OR, Wilbur and Q survive graduation and come out with a stronger relationship than ever two years after they become roommates. Things are stable for a while, all up until Q meets a childhood friend through sheer chance.
And from there it's a chain reaction; he joins Sapnap's cover band, discovers what it means to be a reliable adult to a struggling six-year-old, and is forced to face the worry that love isn't actually worth it, wondering if the last time he would feel love like that was with his abusive ex-fiance.2/3 of Face the Music

Summary

At the end of the velvet carpet, there was an alter. In front of said alter, Quackity stood in all his glory next to a wooden structure that bared a rather… unflattering picture of Wilbur. Behind Quackity and the…statue, a- what seemed to be a priest stood behind the alter with a bible? Wilbur squinted to get a closer look; yep, a bible in hand. Wilbur couldn’t help but gape at the situation – it looked to be a wedding. A wedding for himself and Quackity. Wilbur paused.
