Summary
Aemma has spent her life fighting to survive... but survival has never been enough. Haunted by loss and driven by questions about who she truly is, she’s carved out a prominent place among dragon riders through sheer grit, instinct, and an unrelenting will to belong.
Now, in the aftermath of finding out about the dark truths lurking behind the wards, Aemma is thrust deeper into a war she barely understands, surrounded by allies who don't fully trust her and truths threatens to unravel everything she thought she knew.
As the lines between truth and deception blur, Aemma will have to decide who she is without the past defining her and whether she’s strong enough to claim a future that she isn't sure was ever meant to truly be hers.

Summary
“Be careful. The Shark’s attention is not to be fooled around with. He is a great surgeon. But people have had experiences up there in ortho that haven't been good. Don't think one doe-eyed nurse will change him.” Emma frowned gently, not sure if Dana was being protective or if she just insulted her right to her face.
“I don't think that at all. Thank you for looking out for me. I think this has all just been blown out of proportion. Maybe because I'm new and he's never seen me before …”
“Maybe, Emma. Maybe. Just … be careful,” Dana said, softer this time. “Sharks hunt when there is blood in the water.”

Emma Nolan catches the attention of a certain 'Shark' and a proposal leads Emma to realize that he's not as terrifying as everyone makes him out to be.

What if Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander had the perfect beard?
Lily-Jane Smith is just a normal girl living her quiet hermit life in a secluded corner of Montreal, running from a past she doesn’t talk about and minding her own business. She livestreams. She freelances. She avoids people.
Then she befriends her landlord.
Unfortunately, her landlord is Shane Hollander — NHL golden boy, walking media frenzy, and deeply closeted disaster.
Now her peaceful routine includes sold-out arenas, terrible stadium poutine, icing bruises after intense games, and pretending to be the loving girlfriend of two hockey superstars while secretly covering for their very intense, very secret relationship with their biggest rival.
Yes. That rivalry.
It’s fine. She’s fine. They’re fine.
It’s just a tiny lavender marriage situation.
Minor complication: she may or may not have developed a massive crush on her best friend/fake boyfriend’s boyfriend’s teammate — who, for obvious reasons, thinks she’s dating said best friend’s boyfriend.
Totally normal. Not messy at all.

Summary
No matter how many times they meet and his eyes flicker with dim recognition, whether it’s at the dive bar on Beacon Street or the French cafe near TD Garden, she wonders which will happen first: Ilya Rozanov realizing she’s twins with the guy he’s been hooking up with since his rookie season, or that he’s in love with said guy.
Of course, she also feels the same curiosity every time Shane tells her he has to end it, only to fall right back into Rozanov’s lap.
Boys are so dumb, honestly. It’s a shame she’s quite fond of them both.
