Summary
One last little boot plants itself in Jason’s kidney before someone pulls him back. Jason lifts his head, looking around blearily. He’s sprawled loosely on the mat and Damian is being held back by Dick, wide teal eyes wild.
“Weak!” Damian crows, nearly dancing as Dick struggles to hold him. “Weak, weak, weak!”
Jason laughs quietly, flopping back against the mat and smiling grimly. “Vicious little thing,” he cooes, blood dribbling from his lips as he looks up at Damian’s gleeful smirk.
Damian’s face twists into a confused scowl, but Jason only grins. Damian’s not afraid. He’s not afraid of Jason, he’s not afraid of anyone.
In the long run, that’s probably bad. But damn if Jason isn’t proud as hell.
He lets a chuckle bubble out of his chest, and blood follows it, crawling its way up his throat.
The taste of copper lingers on his tongue long after his bike’s spun out of the Manor’s gravel drive.

Dick swallowed, making an aborted gesture over at him. "So what are you a ghostbuster or something?"
"Oh my god," Jason groaned to himself, instantly turning and walking over to the hole leading out, preparing his grapple so he could leave. He did not have time for this.

Having use of the All-Blades means Jason's pretty used to being the most qualified person in Gotham to deal with supernatural issues. Why Dick's randomly started trying to help he has no fucking clue.

"Uh, I dunno, used to? Didn't really use wooden forks much though, so not really." Apparently happy with the choice, he pulled the bowl out and scrapped the covering, next going for a large serving spoon from one of the doors so he could shovel it into his mouth like a starved dog. "Fuckin' chopsticks was what we had to keep an eye on." He added in between mouthfuls, giving Dick a smirk and a knowing glance, as if they were both in on it and Dick knew anything about what he meant. "Anyway, I'm out. See you next family reunion, or tragedy or whatever."
And then he was gone, as was one of Alfred's favourite serving spoons and bowl, and the potato salad Dick knew for a fact Bruce had been saving to eat for lunch the next day. Jason probably knew that part, to be fair.
"...Chopsticks?" He muttered to himself, baffled, in the now empty kitchen.

Jason Todd loved Bruce Wayne.
Bruce Wayne didn't love Jason Todd.
At least not the way Jason wanted. Bruce's feelings would only ever be familiar, would only ever be that of a mentor and his mentee, maybe even a son? But he could have been indefinitely nicer about rejecting Jason as the man poured out his feelings to him.
Well, either way, it was too late now, a demonically possessed fridge had whisked Jason away to an alternative dimension.
Meanwhile, Jason has landed in a Universe, similar to his own, but the Dark Knight is only three years into his reign of fear, his Mission for Justice, and he doesn't know Jason from any other Gothamite, Red Hood and all.
AKA Jason takes his chances to get with Battison!Bruce when he ends up stuck in a different dimension. Battison doesn't know who the hot vigilante three years his junior really is, only that apparently they're 'allies' in a different universe.
