His eyes widen minutely, and he stops walking, stumbling slightly as he feels an influx of cursed energy flood the room, he can taste it, it’s overwhelming, blindingly so, his eyes filled with a symphony of cursed energy, he's pretty sure that he gags, slamming to his knees as he tries to gasp for breath.

Summary
He seems to pause, but before Darcy can open her mouth and make some argument or tell him to piss off, he tacks on, "There will be no tricks. It is… out of my character, but you have my word. Goodnight now, Miss Graves."
And that… is the end of it. It surprises her, again, really, that he turns and leaves after that. Darcy is too used to people prying and poking into her business, prattling off in her ear about how her mentor is no good for her, how she'll kill her if she's not careful, or even if she is. Like it's something set in stone.
Or;
Graves ditches the Lich and gets a new mentor in the Doorman

Summary
"It’s her fault that Roxy’s trapped in a body that just barely functions, its growth effectively permanently stunted, with an artificial heart that requires regular infusions of Flint blood to keep pumping. It’s her fault that Roxy’s future, once brilliant and beautiful, has become tightly bound with hers, the Porcelloy heart like a ball and chain, like a knife that had severed the wings from Roxy’s back."
Roxy's "maintenance" starts of as something Claret feels like she owes to her, a debt of blood that has to be paid. Over time, that sense of obligation evolves into affection, devotion, love, and desire.
The title of this fic is from the poem "Les roses sont entrées", by French poet Renée Vivien.

Summary
She traces the prominent ridge of her collarbones, avoiding the flat chest below as she tortures herself with her own reflection.
"Fag."
That's what he thinks of her.
It's not a surprise, by any means whatsoever, but it is... It is...
It's a cold shoulder, muttered remarks, a refusal to look her in the eye, and the disgust the overwhelms his expression when he sees the pansy shell she's trapped in.
He hates her.
Well, at the very least, he hates him.
But there's no way in hell someone like him could ever smile at someone like her... He doesn't even know her.
