Ґен міцно стиснув губи в надії на те, що Хьозі вистачить мізків зрозуміти, на що він натякає. Хоч обличчя й не було видно повністю, погляд говорив сам за себе. Він шукав слабкість Ґена: думав, чи вдасться вичепити щось в його мові тіла, за що вдалось би вхопитись і напасти.
Спостерігати за цими нікчемними зусиллями було навіть якось ніяково.

Summary
Despite bad press and criticism he used to get, Gen did study psychology both privately and through the Bachelor's program. The beam caught him before he could get any written proof of the fact. It was enough general knowledge for him to know or assume how that could affect a person. He also knew that he was severely underqualified for this situation, but then, again, who wasn’t?
No frame of reference or prior experience, no statistics or research - Suika was lonely in her grief, and it only made his heartache worse.
