Summary
Boothill plucks the blunt from his lips, and for a fleeting moment, Argenti thinks he’s about to close the distance between them entirely. Boothill leans in - so close that Argenti can feel the warmth of his breath.
“Exhale,” Boothill murmurs softly, his fingers brushing against Argenti’s jaw as he tilts it slightly. Argenti obeys, letting the smoke drift from his lips, only to watch as Boothill leans forward to inhale it directly, their mouths barely a breath apart.
Then, just as quickly, Boothill leans back, settling into place beside him like nothing happened. Argenti’s mind spins, trying to piece together what the hell that was, but Boothill is already flicking the lighter back on.

The cowboy found himself enchanted with this knight; it was like a string attached to Boothill's chest that kept pulling him towards Argenti. However, shortly after befriending him, Boothill started coughing up blood-red roses.
The knight called it "Idrila's Blessing."
