Summary
“Have you ever heard the old wives tale that you sneeze when someone is talking about you?”
He meets her eyes in the rear view mirror, “I can’t say that I have.”
“Well maybe you should find out who keeps talking about you behind your back.”
“I don’t really believe in those sorts of things.” He says, eyes back on the road.
“Well you said you aren’t sick, and it doesn’t sounds like allergies so…” She trails off.
“I highly doubt I’m sneezing like this because someone is talking about me.” He replies as he pulls up outside her apartment building.
“Just something to think about.” She says as she gets out of the car and shuts the door.
OR Eddie sneezes every time Buck says his name, and it kinda sorta ruins his life... or does it?

Summary
“Why were you late?,” Eddie asks suddenly.
Buck looks quickly to his side, clicking his seatbelt into place. Eddie is suspicious. “Traffic.”
Chris snorts, “does traffic have a name?”
Buck turns his face to the backseat in disbelief. He turns red without meaning to, and he can see Eddie’s eyes narrowing.
“What do you mean?”
“Buck! I’m not a kid. I know what a hickey looks like,” and there’s a very judgmental finger pointed to his neck.

Or, the fic after Buck and Tommy argue in the kitchen on 8x11. Buck decides to move on from Eddie (and Tommy) very maturely. (He acts insane.)Bookmarked by Valvalen

Summary
“Eddie, please, I need you to come home. It’s important.”
“God Buck you’re doing it again! I thought you understood I need to get Chris back, you can’t make this about yourself!”
“I-I’m not, please just come home! For a visit, just a couple days-“
“No.”
Death has favorites and she offers Buck a deal. He has a week.

Summary
“As I’ve said five times now, you are my best friend. In the entire universe, for the rest of time. If you could get best friend married, I’d best friend marry you, okay? Can you please chill out?”
Buck blinks. “You’d best friend marry me?”
Eddie groans. “Are you only hearing every second word I say?”
“We should - - we should do that. That’s - - Eddie, we should do that.”
Or, Buck is jealous. He platonically proposes about it.
