    The sound bounces off the cell walls, and across from them Dazai shuffles in his sleep.

    “Quiet!” Fyodor hisses.

    “Oh, my deepest apologies,” Nikolai grins, lowering his voice but not looking apologetic in the slightest. “Quieter now, then, here goes: why am I here?”

    He's asking to play a game, and Fyodor can tell. He should deny the offer, of course. But Fyodor is terribly, achingly bored.
