Summary
Ever since the men of his tribe left, for one night a month, when Tui shows her full face, Sokka’s body is not his own.
His eyes glazed over as he watched his fingers unnaturally contort, wrapping around the handle of a blade made of tiger seal tooth. Tui’s pale light shone down, in all its glory, sparkling off the snow and ice around him. The blade glistened brightly under her. So, so brightly.
Time operated in two extremes on nights like these. Sometimes it was excruciatingly slow. Other times, he blinked and entire hours had passed without his knowledge.
The blade was red now. When had that happened? He knew it would, it was as inevitable as La’s waves, but the sight was always a little jarring. It was okay. He just had to behave.
He prayed to La that she would be merciful tonight.
Tui shined down coldly.

"So," Husk began, coming to a halt to the left of the deer demon. "What's all the fuss about?"
The Radio Demon's head snapped back to face him, neck cracking. "Why, it's a pleasure to see you as always, dear Husker!" He grinned, razor sharp teeth on full display. "It seems our dear Princess is pursuing a rather silly endeavor." He answered, hands gesturing to the television dramatically, eyes darting back to follow.
Husk barked out a laugh. "She wants to get demons sent to Heaven?" He questioned incredulously, paw coming up to cover his mouth as he giggled.
Alastor's smile only grew at Husk's apparent agreement and to the hilarity of the situation. "It's truly baffling, isn't it?" A rowdy laugh track could be heard from his radio.
(What if Husk never sold his soul to Alastor, and remained an Overlord to this day?)

"What's got you so happy?" Husk gruffly asked, going back to wiping down a glass as Alastor took a seat.
Alastor pretended to check his nails, the music on the radio growing louder in his excitement. "I was just relieved of a burden a bit ago." He cryptically replied, grinning. "A liquor, if you don't mind."
A sentence like that was typically a pretty good indicator that Husk did not want to know what had happened. He dragged his hand down his face and simply got to work.
He really did not want to know.

“Oh, Al. I’ve been dreaming about this for a long time,” Vox almost exclaimed, with a huge smile. The excitement was shining in his eyes.
Alastor could tell that Vox was thrilled about what was about to happen between them, but his smile didn’t reassure him in the slightest. It only made a knot form in his stomach, and sudden nausea rose in his throat, forcing him to swallow to keep himself from vomiting. The idea of Vox touching him with sexual intent disgusted —and terrified— him.
“Al, don’t be shy. Come on, take something off too.” Vox watched him for a few seconds. Alastor didn’t respond. He didn’t even move to take off his shirt, as Vox already had. He couldn’t. “Do you want me to help you?”
Alastor still didn’t respond. He didn’t know what he was supposed to say. He had never been about to have sex before. He had no idea how to act. This would be his first time, if Vox decided to go through with it. When Vox touched his shoulder, Alastor resisted the urge to pull away as far as possible from him and from the entire situation that threatened to swallow him into a void.
Or: An AU of the Elsafogen Comic "Incompatible Frequencies" but this time Vox is not an asshole.
