“Wh- What is it?” Hongjoong glanced over to the Ringmaster, but his gaze quickly returned to the tank. He couldn’t bear to look away from the beauty contained within its walls.
“That, my boy, is the star of my show. A mermaid to some, a siren to others..." Glowing lights within the glass exposed the shimmering iridescent tail on one end of the tank, and as Hongjoong’s eyes followed the tail up, up, up, he reached an expanse of pale skin riddled with scars and ridges. But at the very top of the creature was the most beautiful face Hongjoong had ever had the privilege of laying eyes on.
"He’s dangerous, but that’s half the fun. One look into his eyes, and he can control you to do his bidding. He won’t need more than a minute to pull you into his tank and eat you whole. I’ve seen it with my own eyes…”
Whatever the creature was, it seemed like the most dangerous thing he had ever encountered in his life... but now he couldn't get away from it, he didn't want to.
