    “You’re welcome, by the way.” Starscream smirked. 

    Megatron just stared down at him, at the water droplet hanging off the end of his short, elegant, upturned Vosian nose. ‘Pretty’ wasn’t a word in Megatron’s vocabulary, but he always seemed to think it looking into Starscream’s face.

    “This is your fault anyway!” Starscream snarled.

    “We don’t know that,” Optimus began to argue, because the sparkling’s coding wouldn’t be determined until after emergence. 

    “Don’t we?!” Starscream cried sarcastically. “Hmm? I wonder who the sire of Megatron's gigantic sparkling is going to be? Me? Or the enormous matrix-bearing Prime?!”

    Optimus didn’t dignify that with a response, mostly because Megatron himself hadn’t yet decided which of them was truly to blame for his condition, and Optimus wanted to keep it that way for as long as possible. 

    Megatron may be wide, but he was still deadly.
