Part 3 of the “And The Sky Was Made Of Amethyst” series.
Picks up about a week after the events of Part 2 and mainly takes place in the aftermath of Tsunkatse, with some lead-up to, and during, that ep.
Just as they’re about to finally open up to each other, Seven is taken prisoner and forced to compete in brutal combat to survive. After she’s rescued, she struggles to recover and pulls further and further away from B’Elanna and the rest of the crew.
B’Elanna tries everything she can to get her back but it might mean having to accept that she waited too long and what they could have had is lost forever…

Picks up about a month after the events of Part 1 of the “And The Sky Was Made Of Amethyst” series, and takes place during the two months leading up to, and a tiny amount immediately after, the episode “Night”.
Despite all the evidence and everyone around them screaming at them to just please get together, Seven and B’Elanna are still telling themselves they’re just friends and the other person isn’t interested in more than that. Even with ludicrously obvious flirting.
When they enter a region of space devoid of stars or any stellar phenomena, consumed by darkness, it becomes increasingly difficult to maintain that distance.
