    Following the events of Malfoy Manor, Hermione is forcibly removed from 1998 and discarded into the turbulent happenings of the First Wizarding War. Making her debut twenty years into the past was much harder than expected. Especially when it came with a rambunctious group of familiar strangers she could not get rid of.

    She wants to make it back home, to Harry. He still needs her.

    Yet, The Marauders may require her more.

    Only time will tell.

Insidiously, Judas's voice urges her to take that step forward and feel the freedom that falling would give. It nearly makes her laugh, brazen and unashamed as her toes hang off the edge of a shingle roof.

    Thirteen and suicidal. The irony sat as bitter as the petrichor on her tongue. Happy birthday to me.

    Sakura Haruno had everything anyone could want: loving parents, adoring teachers, a fanatic crush, and a budding career. She was happy, idling her days away at the Academy until it was time to start her life as a proper shinobi of Konohagakure. Until she is no longer Sakura Haruno. Being reincarnated isn’t a particularly endearing experience, especially when she is forced to survive in a shinobi village determined to see her dead before the age of twenty.
