Summary
“Dimitri would love to see you.” Mercedes offers, deceptively sly despite her friendliness.
Despite knowing it won’t do him any good to think about it, he considers this. Would Dimitri be happy to see him? It's honestly hard to say. He's always been a sweet guy, but ghosting your childhood friends for a year might be behavior even he can’t forgive, and Sylvain could hardly blame him for drawing the line there.
Besides, Dimitri’s not the person he's worried about.
-----
After a nasty fight with Felix, Sylvain ghosted his childhood friend group and dropped off the map. Back from his first year of college, he's forced to rebuild those friendships and reconnect with his ex-best-friend.

Summary
Rendered in Felix’s artstyle is a man with slightly curly, strawberry blonde hair, long enough to form into a short mullet behind his head. His muscular frame is posed casually, freckles dotting a lightly tanned face and parts of the character’s arms and chest exposed by his loose, ruffled shirt. Round amber eyes stare back through Sylvain’s screen, cocky and challenging and warm all at once.
"Huh," Sylvain thinks. "He looks like me."
-----
When Sylvain finds out his game dev ex-boyfriend Felix has recently made a dating sim, he's more than a little curious why. When the contents appear strikingly similar to their relationship, though, he can't help but think about what might have been. Written for Sylvix Week 2025 Day 6 - Otome + Pining.

“Let’s get you dry. Take this off, c’mon.”
Despite his shivering, Felix feels some heat creeping up his neck. “I’m not wearing anything under this.” He protests.
“Okay…?” Sylvain looks at him, the corners of his mouth tugging up into a smirk. “You don’t have to convince me, Felix.”
-----
Felix and Sylvain get caught in a thunderstorm and take refuge in the Knight's Hall. Felix tries his best to not let Sylvain's proximity affect him.

“Do you know anything about courtship?”
Ferdinand raises his eyebrows. “Of course I do!” He says, leaning forward excitedly. “Felix, are you asking because you intend to court someone and would like my advice on how to proceed?”
Felix can feel the blood rush to his face, but he nods.
-----
After catching feelings for Sylvain, his best-friend-turned-friend-with-benefits, Felix decides the best thing to do is to formally court his crush. The only problem: He has no idea how to do that.

“So it's not safe for you to go home?” Felix asks.
“I don’t think I’m in danger or anything.” Sylvain deflects. "Look, I'm sure I'll be fine."
“You will.” Felix agrees. “But you’re staying at my house tonight.”

“It wasn’t as bad as the time that poor marquis’ son tried to dance with you,” Mist said to Soren, “and my brother completely lost his mind.”
Ike made an annoyed noise at the back of his throat. Soren looked away.
“Or are we still not talking about that?” Mist asked, sounding deeply unimpressed.

“I don’t know,” Ingrid said. “Why wouldn’t he have just told us if he was dating someone? We’ve never been able to get him to shut up about the women he's dated before.”
Dorothea shrugged. “Maybe it’s serious this time. Serious enough that he wants to keep her to himself for a little while.” She took a sip of her drink. “It’s either that or he’s going to therapy.”
Sylvain is hiding something and everyone seems to think it's a girlfriend. Felix tries very hard not to care.

"Well. Social obligation complete." Sylvain drops his glass on the table, next to the full one he'd intended on giving Felix, the glass starting to sweat a little as it sits untouched. "Want to get out of here?"
Felix can't help the smile that creeps into his voice. "Thought you'd never ask."sylvix week 2025 day 1: dancing
