Lin Beifong has a mental breakdown and her lovely unofficially adopted son , Mako is brilliant enough to draft Kya to help her pick herself back up. It's gonna be a long sad ride , but our girls are gonna pull through--even if Kya does feel extremely tempted to strangle Lin through a lot of it. Funnily enough , Beifongs are NOT what you would call good patients...who knew?

Driving down the solitary road into what she could only deem as no man’s land for there was not a light, a car, or another soul in sight. The blonde woman expressed her frustration momentarily through her gold glowing eyes before the familiar sparkle of hazel returned. All her life her eyes flashed exposing a quick golden color when she was angry, or an ice blue when she was happy and excited.
Sometimes the color lingered and other times with a blink of an eye it disappeared. People found it frightening but for Emma Swan, it was normal. Although, when she was angry, it felt as if there was some big dark spectrum deep within her that wanted to release its fury into the world.Bookmarked by Wayward_Witch99

Canon Divergence Season 4: Emma’s powers are going haywire. Everything is becoming too much too fast. With everybody’s expectations about her, about how she should be, what she needs, who she has to be with; who she has to be.
And add to all that mix Ingrid, the Snow Queen, who comes back shaking her entire world.
Her parents are then afraid of her, and Emma herself becomes afraid of hurting the ones she loves. Then it all comes crashing down. Anxiety, depression, fear, it all results in Emma having panic attacks, which are actually worse in a world with magic, especially when you can’t control your magic at all under “normal” circumstances. So she goes, she runs as much as she can, she strays from her family, she runs without running cause she knows she can’t get away.
