Monarch was getting bolder, the akumas more dangerous and augmented by the powers of the miraculous that never seemed to be on the victim, and attacks were coming so often it felt like they were even battling in their sleep.
They needed an edge, something to shake them up a bit and throw Monarch a curveball. Even Tikki had agreed that it should work as long as it was a temporary thing.
Which is how Lady Noire found herself dodging through a crowd of waltzing couples in the Champs-Élysées only to get her tail braid stepped on.
