Summary
Jack Crawford stood looking through the reinforced glass door to a day room of sorts. Round tables spaced in no particular order, nor done to be aesthetically pleasing, filled the room. Nurses in soft pastel colors moved about the room slowly and surely. Some sat by the side of a patient, distinctly different in pale blue jumpsuits and bare feet.
The occupants of the Baltimore State Hospital for Traumatized Omegas varied in many ways, different ages, different genders, different ethnic background. What they all had in common though, was that they were criminals. Offenses ranged from petty theft to murder but all were under the same roof, shared the same air, ate the same bland institutional food.
Will Graham had arrived three months ago. Sedated, bandaged, painfully thin.
*taking a small hiatus from this as I want to concentrate on my other fic What The Little Mouse Brings. Once that's finished I'll continue this one, thanks for your patience<3*

Summary
The smell overwhelms Hannibal, forcing him to pause and shut his eyes. It smells overwhelmingly of blood. Not the metallic afterthought of blood, but the visceral, bone-deep smell that can only be found at the scene of a slaughter. It sits so heavy in the air that he almost feels like he's drowning in it.
