Summary
A peaceful night of reading turns into something more when Leon comes home from a party.
“Ah, look who’s finally back.” Luis doesn’t bother to look up from his book. The only movement comes in the form of him pulling his blanket closer to himself. “How was the party?”
“Would’ve been better if you came with.” Leon admits, tapping the toe of his boot onto the mat. The snow already beginning to melt. “Other than that, it was fine.”
Luis only lets out a small hum as he hears Leon take off his shoes and coat. The world around the Spaniard slowly turning into a soft static. His eyes heavy lidded, thumb tapping against the page. He can’t be bothered to focus on anything else, that is - until the book is snatched from his hands.
“¡Oye!” Luis’s face shoots up. His brows furrowed, mouth slightly agape as his gaze fixated on the blonde. “What the hell!?”

Leon switched on the light by the door, casting the room in a soft, orange glow.
“Christ,” Leon breathed.
He’d signed up for unlimited alcohol, not being doomed to share such an intimate and sickeningly romantic space with the man he was very much not supposed to be in love with but undoubtedly was anyway. Leon was thoroughly fucked; and not even in the fun way.

Almost two years after the events of RE4, Luis manages to convince Leon to go on a cruise, only for the two men to be disappointed by the lack of alcohol on board. They decide the logical thing to do to solve this problem is to pretend to be a married couple and win a newlyweds contest in order to earn the prize of unlimited alcohol. Leon discovers pretty quickly this was a terrible idea, as now he has to pretend to be in love with the man he's already fallen head over heels for, without actually committing to anything real.
It was going to be a long vacation. -

Summary
Leon cupped Luis's face with his free hand and leaned in, capturing Luis's lips with his own as easy as breathing. Luis fell into him, and Leon wrapped his arms around Luis. They tasted each other's lips for a while, slowly and tenderly, breathing each other in. Leon felt his soul unravel at Luis's touch, and Luis lovingly held him and put him back together, became a part of Leon. He truly couldn't live without him.

It's Luis and Leon's second Christmas together, and they're both excited for more to come. Especially since this year, they each have a very special gift in mind; and plenty of mistletoe to go around.
