And furthermore, how do you explain that Harry hadn’t expected Tom Riddle the human, but Voldemort the monster? It was supposed to be fun. It was supposed to be like a short vacation before joining his inevitable eternity. However, Harry Potter made a couple massive miscalculations in this plan. First was trusting that a primordial being actually knew what was going on and was in charge. Second was thinking that his over-developed 'saving people thing' wouldn't kick in and claim an entire messed up vigilante family and, by extension, an entire bloody town in the process. Well, at least he'd been training for this his entire life it seemed. What was a vigilante anyway but Harry Potter in tights? Nope, definitely dropping the tights, that's weird.

Summary
The mer at first glance wasn’t a good match for his brother. Dick was slim, his tail was fairly small, but this mer’s tail was obviously muscular and bigger than Dick’s had ever been. His chest was also large, with rounded breasts on it. But then Jason looked closer. His skin was the right colour for his brother, his hair was the right colour and texture, his facial features were shaped just like Dick’s. And there was a bite mark around his nipple exactly like Dick’s had in the photo they’d found.
And hadn’t Dick been mated and bred according to that paper? Dick was an omega now, right? The condition he was in, with the oversized chest and tail were common in the first year after giving birth. The tail grew larger while carrying and would stay big as long as the omega used it and needed the strength it provided, which was common when caring for a pup. And the chest was expanded until the pup was weaned. If Dick had only recently gotten pregnant in that article photo, then his pup would be about six months old.
Bruce frowned. “I don’t–”
“It’s Dick,” Jason said, placing his hand on his father’s shoulder and squeezing. “He had a baby, dad.”

Twice his size, the two mers know exactly what Katsuki needs, and Katsuki is ready to draw blood if they can't satisfy. Katsuki expects to be sent on his way after, but apex mers are full of satisfying surprises.
“You know,” the mer said conversationally, and dammit, it infuriated Katsuki that he sounded so chipper. “I didn’t want to fight you. If you’d have asked nicely, I would have let you hunt in our territory.”
Katsuki could only pant, brow bent up in confusion. “Our…?”
He was so exhausted, he only felt the presence looming up to his back an instant before a chest pressed against him, forcing his spines down before they had a chance to lift defensively. Long fingers slid under his gills, capturing his middle. He could barely see pale skin and purple in his periphery. He froze, blood dropping to arctic temperatures at the deep surety of the quiet voice in his ear.
“That’s right, little fry. Our territory.”

Danny had been born omega, and raised as such, knowing that one day he would present and would be whisked off by an Alpha who would promise to care for him for the rest of his life, as his biology would prevent him from ever being independent. His parents had saved up all their lives, trying to get a good dowry for him, to purchase him a slot in a good Alphan family. Omegas were rare- only one in a hundred babies born, statistically. Alphas, even rarer- such that any family blessed enough to have one automatically ended up rich and powerful, as families with omegan babies begged them to take their children before they presented.
Danny had been very lucky to have been chosen by the Waynes, one of the most powerful Alpha families in the world. Alpha Jason had chosen him personally, and now Danny was living in the Wayne Breeding Complex, waiting for his first heat to take his mind and bind him to be bred by his Alpha forever.
And Danny knows that, he's always known that, he was raised knowing this was to be his fate. Except he's nervous. He's unsure. He doesn't want to lose his mind to his biology and forget who he is. And maybe that's exactly what Jason is looking for.

He felt a gush of something wet and warm drip out of his ass. It was the weirdest feeling. It shouldn’t happen. Had never happened before. Had no healthy reason to happen, and yet it make him feel good.
“Have the three of you lost your minds?” Bruce’s voice cried over the distance as he marched closer. He stepped right up beside them, a few inches away, and gave a growl.

Bruce shouldn’t growl.
“Now explain to me why the three of you are suddenly acting like you’re newly-presented teenagers," Bruce demanded. "Tim, are you entering your heat early?”
