“Incredulous,” Jackson says. Holland makes an inquisitive sound, still watching their child like a fish in an aquarium. “Means ‘unable to believe something very surprising or shocking.’”
“I mean, I wouldn’t say I really find it shocking,” Holland protests. “I make cute kids, you seen my fucking kids?”
“I’ve seen them.”
“The best,” Holland insists as the younger twin finally closes his eyes all the way again. “Yes. There you go, kid. Good job. Not so hard, was it?”
