Summary
Not once in his life has Peter called for help. His reasoning has ranged from: “who would come anyway?” to “he needs to figure this out by himself”, and everything in between. No matter how hurt he has been, afraid he has been, desperate he has been, never has he asked for help. But as desperation fills his throat, panic runs in his veins like electricity, anguish claws at his brain over the thought that he will die here alone and no one will miss him, Peter breaks.
So for the first time in his life Peter calls for help, he begs and screams for it, and no one comes.

Pre-Homecoming
Peter has lost one parental figure after another. May has just died and he knows he won't be able to reach Tony. The man hasn't talked to him since Germany. This should have been it for Peter, but the universe had other ideas.
Enter April Rossi, May Parker nee Rossi's twin sister. All Peter knew about her was that she traveled around the world and sent postcards. He wasn't expecting yet another person he wasn't related to to take him in. Nor does he know what to expect from the person who shares May's face, but is almost the complete opposite of her.
This is the story of Peter Parker finding one more person to take him in and love him. Someone who will smother him with love until he realizes that he's worth every parental figure who has wanted and cared for him.
Oh, also where Tony stops being stupid and gets with the parental program much earlier.
