Summary
Jen and Judy are both in college and work at a fine arts camp for the summer. Jen is the 20 year old return staff who teaches dance classes and Judy is the 19 year old newbie who was hired to teach painting classes.
For right now it's just the first chapter/the meeting of the two. But I'd definitely be willing to write more!

It’s not her fault her husband-recently-turned-ex is allergic to the sun and her daughter is a tweenager and therefore allergic to doing things with her. And so doing this alone hadn’t seemed as daunting an idea as one might assume when it had begun to formulate in her mind one extremely boring afternoon at work.

“My dear,” Laudna started, a too wide smile stretching over her face, entirely inappropriate for the moment but prompting Imogen to relax slightly. “I’m almost certain of it.”

Imogen works as a stablehand at the Eshteross estate, helping her father make ends meet. The morning of an extravagant ball held there, Laudna - a witch doctor, and Imogen's ex - shows up to attend.
Imogen deals with it just fine - she swears - but then Eshteross is murdered, the body count is rising, and nobody can be trusted. It's a race against time to avenge him and stop the culprit.
