Suddenly, a look crosses his face that Court knows very well. It’s the look he gets when he’s about to say something totally out of pocket that he knows will send the whole room into hysterics.
He clears his throat and looks up, meeting Court’s eyes. “May I say, your masculine tits are looking rad as hell, my dude.”
There’s a moment of silence when the joke hangs in the air, a few seconds before it fully registers in Courtney’s brain, but the moment it does they crumple forward, heaving with laughter. Their foreheads bump together and she rests it there. They hit Spencer a few times on the arm for good measure as he chuckles maniacally.
Her eyes open from where they had been crumpled shut with hysterics and their voice was drenched in sappiness when they told him, “You’re so fucking stupid.”
Spencer just grins, that self-satisfied smirk of making someone laugh.
He waits while Courtney calms down from their laughing stint, and when she’s finally recovered enough to look at him, he, like the bastard he is, winks at her. He drops his assured expression however, when they go a little feral and wrap their legs around his waist.
