Sure, Buck and Eddie are always touchy-feely. It's completely natural because of how close they are as best friends. Consumed—If Frank Langdon had to pick a word out of the dictionary to describe his Monday, he would settle on consumed.
Mel was everywhere. Being in her vicinity felt like getting high and he’s barely even touched her.
He thinks about her too much. Every shift. Every moment. Or, at least, that's how it feels. He thinks he’s conscious enough to keep track of how she comes to mind frequently. It's more like a consistent stream of her coursing through his veins, it's easier to pinpoint when he isn’t thinking about her, but those are few and far between. She’s always there and he finds any excuse to bring her to relevance so he can think about her.

It hits him then, very suddenly. Buck slept with someone last night, someone whose voice Eddie recognizes. This call was obviously accidental, and Eddie should really hang up, but he’s already missing being a part of Buck’s life, so, selfishly, he decides to keep listening.
“Why not?”
There’s a slight pause, and Eddie holds his breath.
“What are you saying?”
“I'm saying, what are you doing on Saturday?”
It suddenly clicks in his brain. That’s Tommy’s voice. Now that he’s realized, it’s unmistakable. Buck had a one night stand with Tommy Kinard.
