Summary
What happens when a love so perfect is no longer there? Present? Your own? What happens to a heart so naïve, so young- when it is betrayed?
It doesn't stop beating, no.
Not in this case, it doesn't.
Not in this case, it won't.

Summary
Holy shit, Will thinks. Holy shit, that’s Mike Wheeler.
Dead center stage, his long fingers plucking expertly at a deep blue electric guitar, is a living ghost of Will’s desperately buried past. The central figure of his best childhood memories and worst childhood shames, the boy he thought he’d left behind for good, the first and only person he’d ever really been in love with. Mike.
Chicago, 1993. Will is working as an illustrator, back in the Midwest for the first time since he left at 14. Mike is the frontman of an up-and-coming alt rock band he started with his college friends. Through sheer luck, their paths cross, and everything they ever left unsaid comes bubbling back to the surface.

“Making a new oath,” Mike answers dumbly. He tries for a charming grin, because the longer he’s on the floor looking up at Will the more he’s starting to like it. “To you.”
“Mike.” Will glances around them in a panic but his attention can’t stray from Mike long, and there’s an unmistakable tilt to his eyebrows that lets Mike know that he’s enjoying this more than he wants to. Mike lays his right hand over his heart.
“I, Sir Michael,” he starts, drunkenly scrambling for something to say that doesn’t sound like wedding vows. His mind miraculously turns to the Arthurian literature he studied in college. “Swear my undying loyalty to you, Prince William of the Avalonian Isles. Be thou the king, and I will work thy will.”
The last part comes to him as he says it, a memorized chunk of an Alfred Tennyson poem he once had to recite for extra credit. The full quote sticks in his throat: Be thou the king, and we will work thy will who love thee. A pledge from the knights to Arthur when they hear that his father has died.
“Mike, get up,” Will says, but he’s laughing and shaking his head and so clearly charmed that Mike can’t feel shame anymore. He stays down.
“Do you accept my oath?”
Will snorts, stumbling a little to the side as he nods. “Yes, Sir Michael, I accept your oath. Get up.”
“That’s all you had to say.” He grabs Will’s arm and pulls himself upright, sword scraping against the floor as the rest of the memorized stanza plays in his head:
That when they rose, knighted from kneeling, some
Were pale as at the passing of a ghost,
Some flushed, and others dazed, as one who wakes
Half-blinded at the coming of a light.Mike feels flushed and dazed, half-blinded at the coming of the light that is Will Byers and his toothy smile.
I HAVE BEEN DESTROYED. MY HEART IS IN PIECES, MY SOUL HAS BEEN EVANESCED. THIS IS ART. POETRY AT IT'S FINEST. I AM NOT THE SAME PERSON I WAS.

Summary
Will has been having a hard time sharing a house with Mike and room with his brother. Maybe one of those on it's own would be manageable, but being around a touchy-feely Mike 24/7 and not having his own space to let out everything he has been repressing leads Will to a bit of a mortifying situation. Luckily, when Mike finds out he is understanding. Maybe a little too understanding, though because suddenly he's offering up his room in case Will ever needs some privacy.
Things escalate from there..
But it basically became a slowburn mwtfdyd fic with non canon post Vecna resolution.

Maybe things would be easier if she could cry over her coffee every once in a while instead of overseasoning her eggs and letting the sharp nip of pepper and salt keep her focused on the day ahead. But that wasn’t how the Wheelers functioned. They kept to themselves, the house carved out so they each had their space. The Wheelers didn’t open up over coffee and contemplation. They just acted like nothing was wrong and usually that was more than enough to keep the facade.

Summary
Murray can extrapolate every hidden desire - but it's especially easy this time. These kids are just so Goddamn obvious that it's painful to leave it to fester. So he works his magic - no need to thank him; no, really.
*
Set two years after Vecna - and a fake season 5. Includes Will's newest friend - and Mike is far from happy about that, of course.

Summary
Two days after meeting Ilya Rozanov at the World Juniors and six months before being drafted into a professional hockey league that had never had an omega player, Shane woke up in the middle of the night with a heat curling in his stomach and sweat—no slick—along his back and between his thighs.
As much as he tried to push down every aspect of his biology, a certain cocky Russian alpha seemed to ignite something within Shane. It was hate (certainly not heat).

The knock at his door comes about five minutes after Shane gets home, three minutes after Shane pees on the stupid sticks, one minute after Shane looks at the fucking pink plus signs, and about thirty seconds after tears spring to his eyes.
Shane Hollander, professional hockey player and captain of the Montreal Metros, has a bun in the fucking oven.
Or Shane and Ilya's enemies-with-benefits arrangement has some unintended consequences.
