Summary
Poets sing praises of Apollo, golden boy of the heavens. Charming to all who knew him, yet capable of being terrible. God of the sun who drives a blazing chariot pulled by fiery horses. God of oracles and of archery, of music and of dance. Healer of the sickly and companion of the Muses.
It is a blessing, I suppose, if that is all they remember me for.
For I am also the god who rained down arrows of plague among the Greek camps at Troy. Who slaughtered a boastful mother’s sons one by one, leaving her to grieve alone as her tears ran down stony cheeks. Who damned a young priestess so that her talent would always fall on deaf ears.
I do not regret my actions, for I believe myself to be a bearer of righteous judgment. But there was a time before all of that. For only the wind knows that I was the one who killed Hyacinthus.

Summary
Dying for someone is easy, they say.
Living for someone is hard.
But maybe they have not discovered the right person, because living was almost too easy when said person could clear the skies with one golden smile, could speak in a voice more soothing than a remedy of honey for a sore throat; a voice that, albeit never raised, would hold the entire world captivated as if not a single creature could escape the magnetism, enraptured.
Apollo reincarnated, he believed.
And heavens strike him down if he did not have faith absolute in Enjolras.
If Grantaire was doomed to believe in nothing, let him have this.

(7:53) Proofread my speech for the rally on Friday?
(7:53) Attachment: 1 file
(11:19) is that honestly the best you could do? and thomas paine? really? isn’t he a tad outdated?
(12:25) You could have just told me I had the wrong number. You didn’t have to go and deface my entire speech.
(12:28) don’t tell me i went through all that effort without even getting a simple “thank you” in return. i didn’t even charge you for reading through that painfully ostentatious tirade
Enjolras texts the wrong number. They talk, they flirt, then they fall in love. -

"Don't shoot."
A figure stepped out of the clearing, lowering his bow. He drew back his hood, revealing dark curls and eyes narrowed with suspicion. "What's your name?" he asked, jerking his chin.
Enjolras hesitated. "Jean," he lied.
The man raised an eyebrow. "You don't look like a Jean."

Prince Enjolras finds himself lost in the woods after his entourage gets attacked by bandits. Luckily for him, a certain hunter by the name of Grantaire just happens to be passing through.

As far as schemes go, her latest is gaudy, overly extravagant, and petty to the point of being entirely beneath both their stations. Therefore, it's absolutely perfect for Croix and Ursula.
