The racing pulse of his heart is all Hongjoong can hear. Never in his life has he felt his heart beat that fast. Heat creeps up his neck and he is more than thankful for the dark room.
“Uhm” the younger man coughs nervously. “The song? You know…” The deafening drum in his ears makes it hard for Hongjoong to hear himself. He can only hope his voice is stronger than how numb his limbs feel. “All about you."

Hongjoong did a double take. Then a triple take. It took a quadruple take to be sure he wasn’t hallucinating.
There, on the other side of the room, in the corner where Hongjoong’s desk sat, was a new head of neatly arranged silver hair talking to Yunho, and that silver hair belonged to none other than Park Seonghwa.///
Seonghwa, ex idol, becomes Hongjoong's desk neighbour. Unfortunately Hongjoong's been obsessed with Seonghwa for almost a decade, and has a daughter with no filter when it comes to sharing Hongjoong's secrets. And Hongjoong can't shake the feeling that Seonghwa might be flirting with him.

Photos, technically. A whole slew of them from Yeosang into the pack group chat of his morning gym adventures. If the Instagram-appropriate photos the alpha has been posting weren’t bad (good, amazing, hot) enough, then these very sweaty, very shirtless pictures are the nail in Hongjoong’s coffin of shame.
“Fuck.” Squirming slightly, Hongjoong presses his thighs together and tries to squash the warm bone-deep ache building in his core.
A futile effort, of course. He’s not the only one thirsting over Yeosang, and each time his phone buzzes faintly with a response from the pack, Hongjoong’s traitorous mind recalls the damn photos all over again.
