    Every year Alfred chooses someone to do the honours of spinning the wheel- (using a random generator) to pick a date to be named the “Day of the Robins”.

    Basically where everyone who has ever been a robin- and some who haven’t- get their hands on a Robin costume and go out to terrorise the masses. (Certain past-robins who are a little more reluctant to relive that particular experience are allowed the joy of their own Batman parody.)

    And that’s great and all, hilariously fun- but Dick is a little preoccupied right now.

    (I mean, when you go undercover, you can’t exactly bring your calendar with you, so you kind of have to keep all the important dates in your head- and, well, Dick was just really hoping that someone would come and collect him, because he’s definitely forgotten.)

     

    Or: Dick is just vibing in NYC with the WC team, until he (and of course the rest of the team, because I love dramatic reveals almost as much as I can’t write them,) is elaborately dragged off to go participate in the annual “everyone is Robin and we’re going to go mess with people” day.

    “Ning-shushu wakes up today.” He whispered into the small space between them, his words only spoken for Wei Wuxian to hear. He watched as Wei Wuxian’s face scrunched up, trying to decipher his words.

    “Xian-gege,” Wei Wuxian’s eyes widened, “Ning-shushu wakes up today.”

    Sizhui watched the realization cross Wei Wuxian’s face, his gaze dropping to the child clinging to his robes, then back to the teenager in front of him. His mouth opened and closed, unable to even think of where to start.

    “A-Yuan? What…how?” His hand reached out and grabbed one of Sizhui’s.

    "Now I ask again. You would change the past?”

    “I would,” Lan Wangji agreed, head beginning to spin with hope.

    She knelt at his bedside and took his hand. It felt as if gentle lightning was shooting up his arm. “Who would you have me send with you? I will include your brother."

    “Wei Ying?” he asked.

    She chuckled and it sounded as if a thousand bells were shattering around him. “Oh, yes, I suppose I’d better send him as well. Do please take better care of him this time."

    Lan Wangji, Wei Wuxian, Lan Xichen, and Nie Mingjue are sent back from slightly after Wei Wuxian's death. They wake up during the Sunshot Campaign. Lan Wangji is done with almost everyone.

    Without a Golden Core, it was inevitable Wei Wuxian would be the first to succumb to the passage of time. He was surrounded by his loved ones as he laid to rest in his soulmate’s embrace. A-Yuan, Jin Ling, all the disciples of Cloud Recess, Huaisang, his husband’s brother, and even Jiang Cheng were there. Although his life was anything but perfect, he was at peace before he took his last breath.

    Wei Wuxian stared at his own reflection in the waters of Lotus Pier. This time, he didn’t have any hideous make-up on. The young boy reflected on the waves was clearly himself from many, many years ago.

    He pinched himself once, yanked his cheeks, and winced at the numbing pain.

    Then he drew in a sharp intake of breath, whipped his head up, and screamed.

    “What kind of afterlife is this?!”

    Or Wei Wuxian somehow finds himself with a chance to live and die all over again, with hopefully no lingering regrets this time around.
