“Hyungnim,” Hyunjin corrected, eyes unblinking. “We’re familiar enough to drop some formalities.” His gaze was dark, the reddish hue so deep that Jeongin got lost within it for a second. “We are not strangers.”
Jeongin’s eyebrows rose under his fringe, taken aback by Hyunjin’s complete lack of trying to pretend. Well, it wasn’t like Jeongin wasn’t willingly sitting inside the predator’s den. He should play along.
“Alright,” Jeongin replied, his own mouth lifting to mirror the smile Hyunjin flashed at him. “Hyungnim.”
Or, Jeongin is reincarnated as a hunter with no memory of the vampire he used to love. Hyunjin, having already lost Jeongin once, is desperate not to lose him again.
