The man tilted his head, smiling almost indulgently at him. Shane waited patiently, then smiled awkwardly when there was no name forthcoming. “You don’t know?” the man said.
“Your name? No, I don’t– sorry, have we met before?” Shane asked, suddenly embarrassed. He didn't remember seeing this man in the shop before. Oh god, had they gone on a date and he forgot? It had been awhile since he went out with anyone, so it must have been quite a long time ago if that was the case. But Shane was sure he would remember someone who looked and sounded like that.
The man’s smile widened. “I must just have one of those faces,” he said. “My name is Ilya.”

Maybe this is the best part of achieving any kind of semblance of fame: you know a guy who knows the movie star Rose Landry who knows the history buff and celebrity architect, Shane Hollander. Nerdy hunks with a hard ons for historic home renovations do not grow on trees. Ilya Rozanov, reigning Top Chef winner from the all-Canadian season and new historic home owner, is well aware he's found a diamond lost in the rough.

Shane Hollander knows it is completely and utterly unprofessional to be sucking off his celebrity client, Ilya Rozanov, in the decrepit historic home the chef's charged the architect in reviving. But here they are, sneaking around construction crews and lying to themselves that this isn't a problem. But this is a problem neither men want to ever go away.
