Lucius Malfoy has made some changes after the war. He is on house arrest and confined to the Manor. He has attended Ministry mandated therapy and Muggle education. He is learning to think, speak, and act differently. He still has a long way to go and he's definitely a work in progress. He's trying to be a better man for himself, his family, and just because. He's attempting to be a better father and allow Draco to live his own life and not micromanage him. He also really loves his wife. He's down bad for Narcissa, and who wouldn't be she's hot. He's also bored and needs a hobby. He's going to get a pet, the universal cat distribution system will bless him. It will inspire him to keep growing and trying to be a better person because cats judge you. He wants to be the person that finally earns his cats respect.
