The softness of his voice sent shivers down his spine. “For what?” Chuuya whispers, too afraid that if he spoke too loudly in this moment, it would disappear before his eyes.
“For today,” Dazai confesses, brown eyes staring into blue ones, in the hopes that he might drown in them forever. “For just seeing me.”
“Do you always thank people by kissing them?”
“No,” Dazai whispered with a trembling breath. “Just you.”

Yet, here Dazai stood, staring down the door he hadn’t seen in almost half a decade. Chuuya would be behind this door.
Would Chuuya even let him in?
Would Chuuya forgive him?
Dazai, for once in his life, shut down his mind, ignoring the thoughts racing through his head as he dragged his knuckles to the door, drumming it against the wood.
Moments later, Chuuya came to the door, looking irritated. But as soon as he saw Dazai, he froze. Dazai swallowed thickly, words caught in his throat.
His breath hitched.
His heart stopped.
Those heterochromatic eyes stared back at him—blown wide with disbelief and confusion as he looked Dazai up and down. As if they hadn’t seen each other fairly recently.
”So… you haven’t moved…” Dazai weakly mentioned.
The ginger didn’t say a word. He just… stared. His mouth dry with his lips slightly parted.

Or, Dazai regrets leaving Chuuya behind after the Guild Incident and needs to see him again to set the record straight.
Only issue is… Chuuya is just so goddamn pretty.
