„Sorry this happened to you.“ he gestured behind himself at Jabber, which was kind of insulting, since he couldn’t care less about the emo chick.
She bowed slightly and answered him.
„thank you for helping Am.. for helping me. I didn’t know what to do. Can I get you a coffee or something? And thanks to you too, I think.“
Jabber waved her off. And to Jabbers absolute delight, Zanka declined too.

The last year of high school was meant to be the best year of their young lives. Zanka calls bullshit. The people who say that high school were the best years of your life? They definitely weren't bullied since grade school by Jabber Wonger. Nor were they perpetually confused by the mixed signals Jabber has been sending (and forcing down his throat) all year.
Most bullies don't corner their targets to kiss them, actually. And the targets don't usually let them. But, Zanka has a knack for falling right into Jabber's traps.
