On the USS Missouri, on an indeterminate date between the 12th and 14th of August, the nations of America and Japan are forced to meet. They aren't forced to talk, but they do. What happens has no impact on the world; but it does impact them.

Chun-Li scrambled to tear a piece from her skirt, rolling the fabric into improvised earplugs. Another violent tremor rocked the structure, causing her to drop them and curse. “What are they doing in there? They can’t possibly be... be... fuc...”
“Oh, Ken!” An ear-splitting groan reverberated like a lightning strike right after the crash. Blue flames licked out from under the doorframe, making everyone jump.
“Aw, fuck—Ryu!” The lights sputtered erratically until a bulb shattered above them.
_________Or: Dan learned long ago that the unique way Ken and Ryu reconciled after one of their many fights was fucking LOUD, which is why he always carried earplugs.

He's so pretty. Pale blonde hair falls out of it's usual stiff style and curls just slightly at the ends in front of his face. He's let it grow out lately, and it's starting to become more unruly the less he bothers with gelling it. His lips are thin, but soft, and right now they're glossy and bruised, spread around you with a relaxed curve to them. His cheeks glow red across pale skin, sharp cheekbones alight with whatever is in his head making it all fuzzy. You think you'll have to ask him where he went, once this is all over.
