The stage lights dimmed for a few seconds as the beginning of The Weeknd's "Til Dawn" started playing, while a wave of dry ice smoke clouded the room. The neon lights all turned red, heightening the sensual atmosphere. Then the stage lights came back on, revealing a man standing behind a chair—a wooden one, upholstered in black leather, with a sleek, luxurious finish. The man was tall, his head bowed, his long blond hair covering his face. He wore leather clothing: tight trousers and an oversized, fringed jacket. His abdomen was bare, as were his feet. Despite the dim light, Jude could see how pale he was; the fine hairs on his chest seemed to shine like threads of gold beneath his slightly tanned skin, glowing from body oils. His nipples were so pink they looked like two juicy strawberries. He was tall, obviously well taller than Jude, who was far from short or average.
The Englishman's jaw dropped as The Weeknd's voice kicked in and the man raised his head. He wore a mask around his eyes, which made it impossible to see his whole face, but left exposed his intense, piercing, ice-like blue-green eyes, his full, delicious red lips, and a jawline sharp enough to cut someone if they got too close.
