The story of how the Herald and the Hero went from mortal men to myths- a god and his paladin, bringing magic and innovation into the world- is, for eight-year-old Tori, just the newest bedtime story his Ma tells. For the involved, it was a harrowing journey, full of kidnappings, visions, and a mysterious temple to a god whose name nobody remembered. Fortunately, Vi knows how to do a little creative editing suitable for the little ears listening.
