As he approached, Charles saw that he was wrong—that boy was Edwin, just not any version of him Charles had ever seen.

For a moment Dick looked utterly stricken, but that was all the reaction that Jason got. It wasn’t like he wanted the man to drape himself over Jason in an overdramatic puddle of tears, but something would have been nice. Maybe a hug that lasted between 5-12 seconds.
