Summary

She does take another sip before she approaches. She wonders if this counts as self endangerment, when Lan Zhan could say heart please and Wei Ying would rip it out of her own chest and hand it over even as she fell down dead. She takes another sip of champagne.

He has spent hours pouring through books and his own personal memories to try and find a melody that would calm Nie Mingjue the most effectively—if not to put him to sleep, then to at least allow him a brief respite from his loud, unwanted thoughts.
