She let the feeling of victory wash over her as she slumped in her chair, listening to the happy chants of the guards and her companions. That was when she caught sight of Osvald, isolated at a table, with a pint in his hands. She blinked and rubbed her eyes, making sure she was not hallucinating, and her gaze caught Agnea's, who seemed similarly taken aback.
She was not hallucinating.
"Should we…?" Agnea asked, as she quickly looked around the tavern, but all their other companions were occupied. Castti only nodded.
As they approached, Osvald perked up, and an unguarded smile graced his face. Both women stilled.
Or. The first (and probably last) time Osvald got drunk in front of his companions.
