Taerae knew the signs, and did what he though best in the moment. In hindsight, the action could have ended impossibly badly, perhaps with Taerae kicked to the curb, fired from his job for inappropriate behaviour in the workplace. But lucky for him, Matthew had been wonderfully receptive to his methods (as Taerae had silently hoped he would be).
