The following fraction of a moment felt like a heartbeat split with an eternity—unstable enough to simultaneously rattle and soothe the collective consciousness.
A boy of Harry's height and frame stepped through the portrait hole. He had round spectacles, a long nose, and dark hair that stuck up in all directions.
"Wow!" Fred and George exclaimed in unison, looking between Harry and James. "You're identical!"

Summary
During a snowy evening in mid-December, 1979, Albus Dumbledore goes to an interview with a prospective Divinations Professor, not thinking much of it. Needless to say, that meeting changes everything.
Sybil Trelawney, plagued with dreams of the future, manages, with her sister's help, to spell her visions into seven books. Determine to change what she has seen, she gathers the original Order of the Phoenix, and a few others, to read these books aloud over the next several days, cooped up in the Hog's Head bar. It goes about how you would expect.

"Lily what happened!? Lily?! Shit! What the fuck happened?! Where's James?!" Sirius still hand a tight grip on her arm. Lily couldn't get her mind to form words for a moment as she just stared helplessly into Sirius's urgent eyes. She stammered, loudly, trying to turn her weeping into sentences.
"Lily, where's James?!?" Sirius said again, voice growing hoarse and desperate.
"THEY TOOK HIM!" Lily managed to scream.
"Took him?! Took him where?!" Sirius' voice started cracking too.
"I don't know!" She cried. "Voldemort came with some others. I don't know who I was upstairs and James told me to hide. They- they were fighting. Voldemort came upstairs to kill Harry and he threw me into the wall. I-I-I must have passed out or something because when I woke up he was gone. Voldemort was just gone and Harry has a wound on his head and..." Sirius' eyes were so demanding Lily didn't know how to continue.
