  Summary

(this kind of only makes sense if you read my other story...)

this is the alternate ending to my other story "a quiet arrival!" (not really "ending" since they both end up with Johnny staying over at the curtis house, but the way things play out is a bit different)

this was actually going to be the original ending to my first story, but I changed it for some reason

  Summary

hi guys...so um this is like my interpretation of how johnny joined the curtis thing (no dally because he wasn't here yet, sorry guys)

this is my first ever fanfic pls b nice 🥹

ALSO: THIS IS WRITTEN FROM THE POV OF 7-YEAR-OLD PONYBOY! ALL GRAMMATICAL ERRORS ARE INTENTIONAL!!! idk how smart 7 year olds are so im wondering if i did it right but i purposefully made my writing amateurish because i imagine a little 7 year old southern boy isn't so smart yet

(johnny, steve, and sodapop are 9, darry is 13, and two-bit is 11!)
