Summary
Two years have passed since Madara left the village. When Hashirama sees him again, he isn’t expecting the babe on his hip.
The child stares at him with wide, frightened eyes, upset by the presence of an unmated, unfamiliar alpha standing close to her mother. She clings harder to Madara and buries her face in his body. Madara pats her back soothingly as he narrows his eyes, his spicy-sweet scent of woodsmoke and freshly sliced ginger gathering protectively around the babe.

Summary
Post-canon Madara travels back in time and leaves the village. Hashirama dedicates his life to finding him. Twenty-five years later, it’s not what he thought it’d be at all.
Or, Madara wakes up and leaves. Hashirama follows.
Hashirama approaches, and Tobirama still faces the kettle, refusing to turn and look at him. Who still doesn’t look at him once as Hashirama patiently explains his plan. I’ve decided to leave, he tells him. This way, I can find Madara and bring him back to the village, he says earnestly.
Tobirama shakes his head and turns around slowly, his eyes unreadable. Say you find him, he says. Say you find him and he says he doesn’t want to come back. What will you do then?
Hashirama stares at Tobirama. I will find Madara and bring him back to the village, he repeats.
Tobirama’s eyes narrow, and he gives an agitated shake of his head. “Disgraceful,” he mutters. “War is coming, and you choose to leave.”

Summary
In which Dabi has non-romantic Hanahki disease for his father.
Enji closes his eyes and Touya’s tearful face appears, startlingly clear in its clarity. He’s tightly grasping a yellow carnation, head tilted up to gaze at his father, teary eyes staring at him with utter devastation.
“I have,” Touya hiccups, “Hanahaki disease. Mom told me.” The tears overflow and run down Touya’s face as Enji silently stands there, staring uneasily at his eldest child, confused and unsure of what to do. Touya breaks into heartbroken sobs, and Enji still can’t bring himself to move. He just stares at his son.
Somehow, Touya survived Sekoto Peak. The Hanahaki survived with him.
Enji puts his head into his hands and weeps.

He immediately sensed him when he entered the hideout. The chakra was weird, in an unsettling, almost worrying way, even if he would always claim that there was nothing to worry about a weak Uchiha Izuna. But his charka was low, dull like the ashes of a big fireplace beyond the point where a gentle blow could stir up the flames again. Izuna was usually more of a wildfire. Wild and blazing, an untamable force of nature under pale skin and wiry muscles.

The smoke clears and they’re both breathing heavy. Black Cat has him pinned to the ground with his own weight and straddling his waist, but Tobirama can’t make a move if he doesn’t want his throat slit.
Tobirama wants to ask what the hell is going on, but doesn’t really get a chance before the ANBU chuckles and drops their hand so the kunai is no longer threatening to draw blood. They pull off their mask, and Tobirama’s blood runs cold at the face of Uchiha Izuna smirking down at him.

Izuna’s mouth twitches at hearing those words before he full-on laughs when he sees that Tobirama is serious. He bends down and pecks his lips, flashing his Sharingan playfully at him before he asks, “And if I did?”
If the genjutsu was nights in Izuna’s lap, playful banters, little kisses, and a big feeling of contentment, well. “Then I wish to never wake from it.”
