Was 2 years good enough to win this man’s heart or would she fail and head back to the circus alone?In this story Harry Potter defeated Voldemort in his second year, he only had made one Horcrux, and since the other piece of his soul wasn’t bound to a body he died after Harry destroyed the diary. Buuut, there’s still followers around.

Eighth year, and Draco fully intends not to piss people off more than they already were. However, he’s not the best at this so of course, he fails barely three days in. And Potter, per usual, needs to be the solution to every problem.

Draco pushed open his door, and closed it behind him. He stood there for a moment, trying to catch his breath, even though it felt that each time he inhaled, air was moving farther and farther away. "“How would you know? You don’t know me.” His jaw clenched, and Draco blinked back any emotion.
“Yes, I do!” Potter insisted on shoving his wand up at Draco, as a demonstration of his pathetic lack of control.
Draco corrected him. “No. You know the worst of me.”
“That’s enough.” Potter remembered himself, and put his wand down, stepping back. He didn’t put it away, however. Why did this always happen? Not once did Draco take out his own wand. ""

Ino was predictable, Chouji was predictable, his friends were predictable, even his mother and, to a lesser extent, his father were predictable.
In the silence of his room, he stared at the ceiling with boredom, wondering if he would ever find something or someone that could pull him out of his monotonous lethargy, just as his father had seen something special in his mother. Perhaps he would have to toss a coin into the stupid wishing well and pray like a fool for something to change in his life.
What Shikamaru ironically didn’t know was that his wish was about to come true sooner than expected. For better or worse...
