“You…found my hands interesting,” Soobin repeats what he said, covering his hand with his other one before pulling his sleeves up in an attempt to feel less exposed. But what he doesn’t realise is that Taehyun can’t help but find him even cuter this way, awkwardly shifting his seat, probably wondering what kind of strange person Taehyun is. “Were you even listening to me?”
“Yes,” Taehyun lies, and quickly shifts around in his chair. “Let’s continue?”

“You're getting good at this.”
The praise made something flutter in Soobin's chest. It shouldn't mean so much, but it did. Soobin felt it throughout his entire body; he felt the smoke enter through his lungs but spread across to his heart, his stomach, his everything. Just like the way Yeonjun's eyes sometimes rake over him, with an unreadable expression on his face.
He didn't say anything, though, simply watching Soobin from a distance. And Soobin desperately wished for more, wanted Yeonjun to cross that distance between them, wanted his hands on him, wanted to feel him.

Summary
As he looked at the younger, he gasped. He hadn’t looked up from the book he was reading, his eyes scanning the pages through a pair of thin-rimmed glasses he knew he looked good in.
Yeonjun hadn’t realised just how long Soobin’s hair had grown until that moment.
It had been a matter of weeks, but his hair was down past his nose, just shy of his top lip, if Yeonjun were to estimate. It was difficult to tell, the way he had it swept back — He wasn’t wearing a hair band, so his hand would move to push it out of his face every now and then, but he didn’t seem as annoyed by the inconvenience compared to before.
Soobin could go bald, and Yeonjun would still find him beautiful, but he really did think the long hair suited him. He wasn’t convinced that it would work, initially — After all, his hair suited him well enough as it was. Not too short, not too long.
However, seeing Soobin with his hair like this, he felt as if he was falling in love with him all over again.
OR: How a simple question led Yeonjun and Soobin to discover new things about themselves.

Yeonjun should’ve known to fill the silence. “So, what’s the deal with Mr. Weatherman anyway? Why is he suddenly making news packages?”
Yeonjun shrugged nonchalantly. “It’s not like he wasn’t allowed to before. And the pieces have been good.”
Yeonjun felt a little guilty. It’s not like he was just using him for views or eye candy. But he was quite dependent on Soobin’s presence and the superficial attitudes of the general public to keep his budget, staff and a show.
Sure, maybe he was inspired by Soobin’s beautiful face. Sue him. He’s sure that if Soobin existed at the same time as Michelangelo, then everyone in his paintings would have dimples. He has a very inspiring face.

Yeonjun put on his whiniest voice, the voice that always got him his way. He batted his eyelashes towards Soobin, trying not to giggle at the pink flush that scattered his cheeks. To distract, the latter scoffed, leaning away from Yeonjun.
So he took the break in proximity to shift his attention to Kai.
“Kai, you've got to hear me out. Cheating isn't my thing, but I guess relationships aren't my thing either… but anyway! I wouldn't cheat if I didn't have a good reason.”
“I literally already asked you why,” Kai said flatly.
Yeonjun was aware that Kai had asked him that, and honestly, he was buying himself time. He had a response that was a low blow, and he had to hesitate.
“Well, as wonderful and as perfect as my cute little Soobininie is… He’s also the worst sex I've ever had. I'm sorry.”
