Summary
Still, Hyunjin longs for Changbin like he breathes, even with the distance and even with the time. He’s hoping that maybe he just hasn’t given himself enough distance or enough time, and the more faraway countries he travels to and the more texts he leaves unanswered, the more his longing will weather away.
It hasn’t worked yet. Not even a little. But he’s trying to get better, see?
Hyunjin left town and ghosted his best friend. He’s forced to confront it at his friends' engagement party.

Summary
Felix wraps his fingers around Chris’ wrist. “You’re not going anywhere, yeah?”
“Not now, not ever,” Chris says. His smile grows, taking on a sharp little edge that lets Felix know the seriousness is gone from the conversation. “I’ve already sunk five years into the two of you, huh? What am I gonna do, back out now? Nah. I’m playing to win big.”
“Oh, yeah?” Felix laughs. “What’s the jackpot?”
“You, me, that one,” Chris says, nodding in Eden’s direction, “the white picket fence, a dog, and a mortgage.”
Chris is just there, like he always has been. Felix is finally working out that he has everything he wants, right where he wants it.

Summary
"If we’re still single when we’re thirty, we could always just get married. You and me.”
“Really? A marriage pact? I think I’m too drunk for that.”
Felix was definitely drunk. Chris was right. Too drunk for them to be agreeing to a marriage pact. Still, Felix grabbed a napkin and a pen and wrote it out in sloppy handwriting.
Felix still has that napkin, now. It’s tucked away in one of his comic books. They have mentioned it jokingly a few times after making the pact, but then Chris started dating and there hasn’t been much of a reason to bring it up.
Until now.
