Lando Norris wants to be a World Champion. He missed out on it in 2024, and although his heartbreak was nothing if not bitter, he had made it out. The beginning of the new season had promised him so many things. And then, Oscar Piastri rose to the challenge. Lando had always thought him capable of breaking his heart, he just hadn’t quite anticipated it would be like that. When the summer break comes to its end, it is finally time to race again. Except his car gives out on him, and Norris watches as his championship contenders soar ahead and win the race.
How could heartbreak ever taste sweet?Oscar Piastri wants to win just like everyone else. His home race gutted him like nothing before; Oscar promised himself never to get back there again. When his championship rival turns out to be the man he’s been a bit obsessed with, there is nothing he can do. He needs to further the gap between them as much as possible, and yet, when Lando’s car stops in the middle of the Dutch track, Oscar has a bitter taste in his mouth. That wasn't how he wanted this to go. When he finds Norris, he wants nothing to do with him.
