What happens when a wizard tries so hard to be respectful that he ends up fucking a statue of his boyfriend instead of his actual boyfriend?
This. This happens.
Gale is trying to be noble. Astarion is trying to get laid. Neither of them are using their words. Contains: Animate Objects used for purposes Mystra never intended, a full and frank discussion of consent while one party is still impaled on a magical dildo, and the discovery that communication is the ultimate aphrodisiac. (But the double penetration helps.)

Gale has an unexplored exhibition kink, and they find the perfect opportunity to indulge it in a haunted library during a lightning storm. Meanwhile, I get to indulge my increasing inability to write something without a massive cum joke involved.Written for the Kinktober prompts Exhibitionism & Voyeurism, and the Spooktober prompts Ghost, Haunted House (except a Haunted Library), and Storms.
Canon Caveats: Plausible as post-canon canon-compliant fic, with some magical realism and exceptions to strict 5e magic rules.

Summary
"Ah, now Minsc understands. He has seen that twinkle in your eyes on many-a-person before. One that wishes for pantsless bodies and soft beds." Either Minsc is politely ignoring how red Gale's face must be turning, or he is enjoying every new shade of scarlet he's managing to pull from his burning cheeks. The smug little smile on his lips seems to indicate the latter. "You do not need to hide your desires from me, little wizard, you are far from the first to want Minsc to touch in all of the tender places. I am happy to do it if you ask, though I do wonder– is it not our whiny vampire that has caught your interest? It is him you trail like a lost puppy-dog, not Minsc."
The day after defeating Orin, Gale is left at the Elfsong in the care of Minsc to recover from the ordeal. Unfortunately, the process of healing from being a Bhaalists's pincushion for a tenday is only a fraction of what's eating away at him. Now he's stuck at camp, hopelessly pining after their rogue, and grappling with just how damnably burdensome he is on the rest of his companions...
Or- Gale gets a perspective change and a lesson in love by being folded by the big dumb ranger. Yippie! 🎉

Summary
Not long after the reunion party, Gale finally has a chance to grant Astarion the one thing the vampire always desired– the ability to walk in the sun. But there is a price for such a power, one that Gale willingly pays because his love for Astarion knows no bounds. A love he has yet to confess. Unfortunately, Gale doesn’t get the chance to do so when he is captured by an old foe.
Meanwhile, Astarion has been living in the Underdark as the leader of the spawn since defeating the Netherbrain. When news of Gale’s kidnapping reaches him over his sending stone, he leaps into action, travelling to Waterdeep under the cover of night. His long held affections for Gale drive him forwards, and with the aid of companions, they race against time to rescue Gale from the clutches of evil.
